School Definitions & Oppositions

White (Abjuration) - Protection, shielding, countermagic, armor bonuses, curse breaking Opposed to: Necromancy

Yellow (Conjuration) - Summoning creatures/objects, teleportation, creating elements Opposed to: Transmutation

Green (Divination) - Revealing knowledge, identifying items, detecting hidden things, scrying Opposed to: Enchantment

Magenta (Enchantment) - Mind control, charm effects, sleep, compulsion, persuasion Opposed to: Divination

Red (Evocation) - Damage dealing, elemental attacks, raw magical energy, some healing Opposed to: Illusion

Cyan (Illusion) - Deception, invisibility, disguises, hallucinations, sensory manipulation Opposed to: Evocation

Black (Necromancy) - Life/death magic, undead, necrotic damage, resurrection Opposed to: Abjuration

Blue (Transmutation) - Changing properties, polymorph, flight, material transformation Opposed to: Conjuration

Color Oppositions - Yellow ↔ Blue (Conjuration ↔ Transmutation) - Magenta ↔ Green (Enchantment ↔ Divination) - Cyan ↔ Red (Illusion ↔ Evocation) - Black ↔ White (Necromancy ↔ Abjuration)
